The Good OLD Times..

This song Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five - The Message ( I'm sure you've listened to this song before) remind me of my teenage years, the good old times I had with my elder sister. Although our age gap is 4 years apart but I've always followed her around since high school. Her friends are my friends and vice versa.

I've always hanged out with her friends and I'd make sure I tagged along to wherever she went, yes including clubs and all (but I don't go clubbing..just to the cybercafe to mIRC with my then bf, now hubby hehe).

This song really brings back memories when I was younger.. naive, stupid and have the guts to do anything without thinking about the consequences haha. No, I didn't drink or smoke, but my sister taught me how to play pool and showed me the 'world'. (thanks miss ;)

Ahhhhhhh the good old times yeah ;)

Someone is engaged!!

My friend Masera told me she got engaged!!! a day after the ceremony!!!
I'm sooo happy for her!! She had been to EVERYONE's wedding, including mine..she attended too many weddings and finally she's attending hers! hehe

Wish she had told me earlier that she's getting married in early January next year, need to find a cheap ticket to go home in january. Ahhh finally I'm attending a wedding after getting married hehe

Dont' you think they make a gorgeous couple. They look so good together ;)

Kuay Teow Curry

First time making this and it tasted quite good. Aduii, i miss mee kari MG & kuay teow kari Mat Jasak!! But I'll settle with kuay teow kari cik dina hehe.

Ingredients :
300g 150g 4 2 2 2 tablespoons 200g For the curry 300g 1 cm 1 cm 1 cm 2 3 4 8 1 cm 4 cloves 4 cups 2 tablespoons 1 teaspoon	Yellow noodles (Hokkien Mee), wash and drained well. Bean sprouts, blanched Pieces of bean curd, sliced Red chilies, sliced thin Limes, cut into 4 pieces Fried shallots slices Chicken pieces Grated coconut, extract 2 cups of thick milk Fresh turmeric Fresh ginger, sliced Galangal, sliced Lemon grass (white part), sliced Candlenuts Dried chilies, blanched Shallots, peeled Shrimp paste Garlic, peeled Water or stock Cooking oil Salt
Method : Use a food processor to grind the turmeric, ginger, galangal, lemon grass, candlenuts, dried chilies, shallots, shrimp paste and garlic into a fine paste Heat the oil in a pot. Fry the curry paste until fragrant. Add in chicken pieces. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Add water or stock and bring to boil. Add bean curd, coconut milk and salt (I add a bit of curry powder to make the colour more red) Simmer the curry over low heat. Keep warm To serve Put some bean sprouts, noodles and ladle the hot gravy in. Syukur alhamdulillah, we've booked tickets to Gold Coast for Raya and our trip to Seoul all at cheap prices! hehe been the best 2 days of this year for me!
Now, where else should I go? hermmm....

I went out yesterday morning (despite the rain and the fact I slept at 3am for messenger-ing with my sisters and browsing where to stay for our Seoul trip hehe) to get my free sample of Kiehl's Creme de Crops (30ml) courtesy of Myer One Card. If you haven't heard already, you're a tad too late!! Air Asia is officially flying to Seoul!!!!The promo is on from 4-8 August, travel period 1 Nov 2010 - 11 August 2011.

Finally, a cheaper flight to Seoul, been a long long long wait! The lowest price promo was RM99 (including tax one way), was gone by yesterday night. I searched for the best deal in the morning..it was only around RM300 inc tax for return tix!!!! Was too unbelieveable hehe.

By night time that cheap promo price was gone! Ramai giler org beli ticket. So had to settle with the second cheapest which was RM224 (depart) & RM344 (arrive). So if you're thinking (don't even think) going to Seoul, buy your tickets now!!

I'm going to SEOUL in february!!! 나는 서울에 2 월거야 !!!

Now need to book accomodation and plan our itinerary. So much to see, to do..if anyone knows a good place to go, do tell me ok? ;)

I - Iphone, Four - 4 = Iphone4

Yes, the wait is finally over! It has arrived in Australia!! 2 hours of call waiting was nothing! haha. My.. oppss my husband's Iphone4 has safely been delivered yesterday noon. I hid the package until dinner (coz I know he won't eat dinner if he saw the package). Boy, someone was so excited ;p

The new Iphone4 requires a microsim, so I think you can't use the phone if you have a normal sim card.

So what is so special about Iphone4 than the older version. According to the apple website:

1. It has 2 camera, works two ways. Now you can make videocalls easily. You can video call
Iphone4 to Iphone4 users through wifi. Its 5 megapixel camera now.


2. The Retina display on iPhone 4 is the sharpest, most vibrant, highest-resolution phone screen
ever, with four times the pixel count of previous iPhone models. The colour is much better
than the old one (yes, we've compared)


3. Now you can multitask between applications, pretty fast..doesn't lag like the old one.


4. You can shoot and edit HD quality video on your Iphone4.



This is the new Iphone4..tadaaa!

What do I think about Iphone4? Hermm, I'm not an Iphone user so it doesn't excite me that much. I don't like the design though, the older is nicer. To me, it's just the same like the old one just better picture quality and colour and the 2 camera + 5mp is a plus. Oh and you can get the rubber cover for free, it's for the antenna problem as the US users had this problem.

For now, I've upgraded my phone too, from a LG Lollipop to the old Iphone, yes my husband's old phone ( I only get used stuffs ;( ..ahhhh kesian kan ). I don't mind at all sebab i can now play the games!! yeayyyy my pandamania!! haha
