Pacman Wins!!

It was my first time watching boxing at a bar with my husband. So exciting! I know boxing is really violent, but watching Manny's fight is so exciting!
Yesterday was Manny Pacquiao vs Antonio Margarito fight. We decided to go down to Melbourne Central Lion Hotel to watch. Arrived around 2 something, the fight started at 4pm. There were a lot of pinoys who came, wrong bar for mexicans ehhe.

Fight lasted for 12 rounds, pure punching pow pow pow from Manny. Margarito was like a punching bag for Manny, getting hit every so often. His eyes were so swollen, it was really bad.
Manny won the World Super Welterweight Championship title, his 8th division title.

Now bring it on, floyd 'pretty boy' mayweather!!

Kbox Karaoke @ La Trobe

I was really really bored yesterday, suddenly craving to sing my heart out. So I searched for Karaoke place and found one called : Kbox

It's an Asian type of Karaoke that has English, Japanese, Malay & a bit of Korean songs. Just like what Wayne Rooney said on the website, 'This place is simply amazing' hahaha.
The place is real easy to find, you need to walk up from melb central. Since it was the weekend, they have minimum charge for 3 people, since there's only 2 of us we still paid for 3.
They work like this: 2pm-7pm - $18 per person sing for 5 hours & inclusive 2 drinks. I thought it was really cheap! Night time starts from 8pm-Late & it's $10 per hour.

The room size is pretty decent can fit a lot of ppl but the room is not sound proof, so you can listen to others singing hehehe. The songs lists are extensive, lots of new songs and they add new songs every month. Don't think 5 hours is enough to sing all the songs hehe.
I was so surprised to find a lot of nice/new Korean songs and I picked almost 20 songs ( i think i sang only Korean songs for an hour!).

My husband on the other hand, picked so many love songs ( so jiwang haha) and rap songs. Mula2 malu malu kucing, sekali lagu start haaaa itu dia bakat terpendam gitu! haha

I've enjoyed the 5 hours of singing! No wonder Melbourne hujan the whole day wakaka.
If you live in Melb and feel like karaoke-ing, give this place a try. I can't wait to sing again!!

Mixed Feeling Day

My day started really early today. I was woken up by a phone call by my brother at around 4am. He told me my uncle (my aunty's husband) has passed away. I was really shocked hearing the sad news. My condolences go to them especially to my closest twin cousins ;(

I couldn't sleep for an hour and I got up around 6.30am and took a shower. I actually have a job interview today at 9am. I don't really know how and what to feel going to the interview. Anyways it was a group interview with activities. Felt so drained after being questioned by 5 interviewers asking similar questions. Anyways, it was an enjoyable experience even if I don't get the job, herm just got the call, didn't get it because the stores i wanted to work at has limited openings.hermmmmm.....

Finished the interview by 11am, decided to go redeem my Mini Cupcakes by The Little Cupcakes at Degraves St since I bought a voucher from www.cudo.com.au. It's a dozen (12 pieces) mini cupcakes sold for $9, usual price is $24 ($2 each). I bought a voucher for my friend too hehe

Look how messy my cupcakes were and the toppings actually melted a bit, it's a really hot day!!

Daiso

It was a public holiday here in Melbourne yesterday for the Melbourne cup (horse racing). Only Victoria gets this pleasure, I see it as another excuse for partying and getting drunk hehe.

Anyway, I decided to go and have a look at Daiso since it's just opened in Victoria St. Here is the website for those who don't know what Daiso is: Daiso Australia
Daiso sells everything that you could think of at a real cheap price, AUD2.80 for everything!
Please don't hold high expectations for something that cost $2.80 hehe.

When I arrived at the place, I was surprised that there was a long queue just to get in! The place isn't that big. So I waited around 15-20 mins, was quite hard to move around as there were a lot of people.

this what is bought, only $16.

There was this shop next to Daiso called Chicken Feed. bad mistake to be located next door hehe

So if you're broke but still want to shop, go to Daiso and have a look. I didn't see anyone left without buying anything haha

On a rainy day..

I went berserk with my husband trying to find a cafe called 'Le Cirque'.
It was raining heavily on Saturday, so heavy that my sneaker got so wet!
I knew it was going to rain on Sat, just didn't expect it to rain the whole day!
We bought these vouchers from Zoupon for $14 worth of $30 food & also i wanted to watch Social Network since i bought cheap tix from Scoopon (only $9.95 for the usual $20 of extreme screen!!).

There we were, trying to find the place..going round and round. The website plus google map were so misleading! it gave the wrong direction!!! we felt so stupid walking up and down in the rain ;(
The cafe is actually inside Harbour Town!! DUHHHH!!

So after swearing for a moment, we found the place and ordered our food. Thank godness the food was okay or else there'll be more swearing ;)

Here are pictures of Le Cirque:
