1st Anniversary

26-09-10, marking my 1st year wedding anniversary. Just a few million blinks and it's one year already. I had a great time celebrating the wonderful day with my husband eventhough it didn't go as smoothly as I wanted ;p

I gave my surprise the night before since someone couldn't wait to know hehe. This is what I gave (bought with his money hehe).

Camera Kit (includes a disposable camera & a book)

LOVE book

There were 2 items, one is Camera Kit (includes a disposable camera & a book) - the idea is to take picture with the camera & develope it & you stick the pictures to the book (i know so sweet kan haha). All items bought from Kikki K, they have nice stationery but very pricey.

Second item is a LOVE book. It's a book for you to express, confess & test your knowledge of your LOVE. In the book there are short questions like The first thing I noticed about you, A fond memory of our time together is... & you need to fill in the blanks and write an essay long answer if you want to.
There was one stupid question : One item of your clothing that belongs in the bin..? I don't get it!

Well, what I got in return was a card & a surprise delivery from The Fresh Flower Botak Man. A bouquet of red roses. My husband is too scared of buying me presents because he knows me too well. It's hard buying things for me. I might not like it, I won't use it if I dislike it hehe. So I'll settle with the flowers (for now la).
But he cooked me a good lunch.

Later at night we had a lovely dinner in the city and ended the night early since there were Man Utd match & F1 hehe. What a wonderful day it was and I'm looking forward to more anniversaries in the future ;)

Selamat Ulang Tahun, Sayang

This sunday (26/9/10) will be my 1st year anniversary. Time flies so fast!! Felt like just yesterday I was getting all nervous and anxious to get married. Now, facing reality a year is passing us.

Me so jealous seeing newly weds..getting ready to get married, with all the new baju designs and pelamin decorations..i wish I did more on my wedding day hehe.

Now..getting back to reality..I'm more than happy to be married. 9 years of long distance relationship is so tiring, you have to decide whether to get married or end the relationship! I chosed marriage! ehehe

In the 9 years course of my relationship, I think the time we actually got to spent with each other was just 2-3 months. So it was awkward at first being able to be spend a whole day (everyday) with him ehhe. Now, that it's been nearly a year, my husband seem to be lost without me (as he claimed).

Camera Museum @ Michaels

I went to the city on Saturday just to see what's new in the shops and decided to have a look at this Camera Museum @ Michaels Camera. Here is the website Michaels.

It's free entry & you get to see all sorts of old cameras. All the well known brand were on display. This shop has been around since 1928, so the collection is quite huge and they have some really old cameras. There were really big cameras and some tiny ones used for spying I supposed. I loved the gold plated cameras especially Leica.
This shop also offers short courses for any photography enthusiast.

Wiiiiiiiiiiii....I know I'm the last person to get wii ehehe..
Bought a preowned wii for $175 i think. Totally worth the money, it's been refurbished by EB of course. Games are really cheap right now. So if you're thinking of getting Wii & you're in Australia, head down to EB!!

Post Raya

So how was everyone's raya? Mine was certainly fun but a tiring one. On the first day of Raya, I was hit by flu and sore throat. Not because of over eating but just being tired the whole week ;(

Went home to GC on Sunday and got to spend the last week of puasa with the family. First time spending my Raya with a new family, it felt so different. I wish I was back home with my family, next year perhaps ;)

After the raya prayer in the morning, went to 2 houses to beraya and ate a lot early in the morning around 9 or 10am hehe
in Malaysia people usually pay visit in noon, not here! Then rushed back to prepare for our open house.

In overall, my first raya as a wife was a new experience (a good one of coz), received duit raya still & gave duit raya to the adik-adik (not my money btw ehehe). There were tears, laughters, arguments but all is good ;)

Haven't blog for few days already. Have been too busy and too tired to blog. We've flown back to GC for raya. Penat tolong kemas rumah semua...

When my sister told me Big Bang is coming, I couldn't believe it!! It's like my wish has finally come true! Hopes were high I have to say, my only chance to ever see Big Bang. Then my wish was crushed, I couldn't go (some internal problems that I do not wish to discuss anymore, never! ;(

Anyhow, I got over it already and am excited for my sisters and cousins to go, that if they can get the tickets haha. They are only selling the tickets at HMV Singapore, no other alternatives.

Tell me how do you compete with crazy young girls who are willing campout the night before, plus when you don't live in Singapore your chances to get the tickets is 0.0000001% unless there's someone who is willing to get it for you. Let's just cross your fingers girls and hope for the best!

Please, please organisers in Malaysia, it's about time to bring in Kpop concerts to Malaysia!!!
