So I decided to head down to South Melbourne since I haven't taken any pictures there.
South Melbourne is 2km from the CBD, it's really close to St Kilda. Tram number 112 from the city or St Kilda will take you there, you can also take tram 96 and stop at South Melbourne Market.
So to our first stop: South Melbourne Market.
What's there in this market? The normal stuffs.. meat, fruit & veges store, bread store, a food court in here. It's pretty small compared to Victoria Market. My husband didn't like this market, he said the stalls are not in order, eg. a meat store then a bread store then a meat store again.
We didn't stay long in the market, so here are some pics inside the market.
Gorilla Munch only in south melb market haha
Now on to the second stop: Chef's Hat
This is what married couples do, browsing & always sure buying something from a homeware/cookware shop. We bought a really cheap cook book & a stainless bowl.

Third Stop: Max Brenner
This stop needs its own post ehehe.
Last Stop: Old Town Kopitiam, QV Square
My journey to South Melbourne ended after Max Brenner. For dinner, my sister-in-law..nisreen asked us to join her for dinner. So we went to Kopitiam, yes in melb..not the same like in Malaysia. There's 2 outlet & the one in QV Building has Halal cert, not too sure about the other outlet. The place is always packed with students hehe. This is the website.
The food is ok..me don't think it's the best but if you miss mamak then coming here might be your solution. Don't freaked out if you think the price is a bit pricey, AUD$4 for A big piece of Roti Canai..that's like RM12, you can get 10 pieces in Malaysia haha.
